Which exam boards do you work with?

Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel, AQA and OCR. Each tutor lists the boards they teach.

Can I try a lesson first?

Many tutors offer a short trial lesson. Ask in your request, and agree the details with the tutor before you start.

Do you guarantee grades?

No. A tutor can support a student and give honest feedback, but results depend on the student's work and the exam. We do not promise any grade.

Lessons and fees

How long is a lesson?

Commonly 60 minutes, but the tutor and the family agree the length and the number of lessons per week.

How much do tutors charge?

Fees are set by each tutor and differ with experience, subject, board and format. Ask for the fee in your request and agree it before lessons start.

What if the tutor is not a good fit?

Tell the tutor first, and then tell us. We can suggest other approved profiles.

About A Levels

For the rules, syllabuses and dates themselves, use the official websites: Cambridge International Education, Pearson Edexcel, AQA and OCR. Boards change details from time to time, so check them before you plan.

What is A Level?

A Level is the pre-university stage for students of about 16 to 18. Cambridge AS & A Level and Pearson Edexcel International A Level are common in Pakistan and the Gulf, while AQA and OCR A Levels follow the UK specifications.

How are results reported?

Cambridge A Level and Pearson Edexcel International A Level report grades from A* to E. Cambridge AS Level reports a to e. Check how your board combines AS and A2 results.

When are the exams?

Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel International A Level are examined in the May/June and October/November series. AQA and OCR A Levels are examined in the summer series.

What comes after?

A Level results are used for university admission, in Pakistan and abroad, so universities' own entry requirements matter as much as the grade.
