Privacy notice
This explains what personal information Trinity Tutors collects, why, who can see it and what you can ask us to do. It is written to be read, not to hide anything.

Who we are
Trinity Tutors is run by Mr. Naeem Bukhari from DHA Phase 2, Islamabad, Pakistan. We introduce students and parents to tutors. We decide why and how the information described here is used, so we are responsible for it.
To ask about your information, use the contact form or the phone and WhatsApp number shown on the contact page.
What we collect
The information depends on how you use the website.
- Students and parents who send an enquiry, a message or a demo-lesson request: your name, email address, phone number, whether it is also on WhatsApp, how and when you prefer to be reached, the subject, level, place and way of learning you need, your message, the time you agreed to be contacted, and whether you ticked the separate box for news and tips.
- Tutors who register: your email address and password (the password is stored only as a salted hash), your public profile (name shown, photograph, biography, subjects, levels, boards, languages, qualifications, experience, places and tuition modes) and private registration details (legal name, phone and WhatsApp number, optional father's name where identity checks customarily ask for it, address, postal code, emergency contact, confirmation that you are an adult).
- Tutors who upload documents: certificates, a CV and, only if you choose to provide it, an identity document. Files are stored privately.
- Reviewers: your account and the review you write.
- Everyone: a session cookie when you sign in, and a one-way scrambled form of your network address (not the address itself) used to limit spam and repeated sign-in attempts.
What is public and what is private
A tutor's public profile shows only what the tutor chose to publish: the name shown, photograph, biography, qualifications and institutions, experience, subjects, boards, languages, places served and tuition modes. It never shows a home address, an exact location, a legal name that differs from the name shown, a phone number or an email address.
Private registration details and documents are visible only to the tutor and to the staff who review applications. Each time staff open private details, the system records it.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and, if you ask, to pass it to a tutor who may suit you.
- To review tutor applications, check qualifications and decide whether a profile is published.
- To send the emails the service needs: confirming an email address, confirming that we received your request, telling a tutor about a decision and telling staff about a new application or request.
- To keep the service safe: limiting spam, investigating abuse reports and keeping a record of administrative actions.
- To keep a record that you agreed to be contacted or accepted our terms.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. An enquiry is read by our staff, and we share the details a tutor needs with the tutor you ask to be introduced to. We use service providers to run the website, store data and send email; they may handle information only to provide that service. We may disclose information where the law requires it.
News and tips (marketing)
Every form has a separate, optional box for occasional news and study tips by email. It is never ticked for you, and we answer your request whether or not you tick it. We record the date if you do. Emails that confirm or answer your request, or that tell a tutor about a decision, are service messages and are not marketing. If you agree to news and later change your mind, tell us and we will stop.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as it is needed for the purposes above or required by law. Requests that are still open stay until a member of staff closes them. Closed requests, spam, sent emails and handled reports are then deleted automatically after a fixed period, and expired sign-in sessions and tokens are cleared soon after they expire. The current periods are listed at the end of this notice. Tutors can ask to withdraw an application or remove a profile. The record of administrative actions is kept as a security record and does not hold the contents of your request.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the website needs to work, such as the one that keeps you signed in. See the cookie notice for the list and for how to change your choices if we ever add optional ones.
Messaging apps and other websites
Our WhatsApp and phone links open WhatsApp or your phone app. From then on, the provider of that app handles your message under its own rules. Please do not send identity documents or card details by WhatsApp.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Tutors can also edit their own profile and remove their own documents in their account. We may need to keep a limited record where the law requires it, and we will tell you if so.
Depending on where you live (for example Pakistan, the United Kingdom, the European Union, Canada or the United States), you may have additional rights over your information, and we will follow the rules that apply to you. To use any of these rights, use the contact page and say what you would like us to do; we may need to confirm that the request comes from you. If you are unhappy with how we handled your request, tell us first. You may also be entitled to complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Security
Private files are kept out of public view and are served only to people who are allowed to open them. Passwords are hashed, sessions can be ended, and administrative actions are logged. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password that you do not use elsewhere.
Children
Tutor accounts are for adults. A parent or guardian should send an enquiry for a young student. We do not knowingly ask children to create accounts.
Changes
If we change this notice in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and, where an account is affected, tell the account holder.
Current retention periods
- Closed enquiries, messages and demo-lesson requests: 1 year after they were last changed.
- Requests marked as spam: 30 days.
- Copies of emails we sent: 3 months.
- Handled abuse reports: 1 year.
