Cadet colleges in Pakistan are residential schools, and each one runs its own admission process for the entry class it offers. The written test usually covers English, mathematics, science and Urdu, and some colleges also assess general knowledge or reasoning. Shortlisted candidates are usually asked to attend an interview and a medical check. Tutors can help a child build confidence with the school-level content and with timed, multiple-choice style papers, but they cannot know a particular year's questions. Ask the college you are applying to for its current prospectus, entry class, age limits and test format before you plan. Format, dates, fees and syllabus can change from year to year, so always check the organiser's current information before you register.
