How AQA Papers Are Named

AQA papers carry the specification code and the component, for example 7405/1 for Chemistry Paper 1. Mark schemes and examiner reports use the same references.

How AQA A Level Is Assessed

A Levels are mostly assessed by examinations at the end of the two-year course, with some subjects adding coursework or a practical endorsement. The specification lists all of it.

Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel International A Level are examined in the May/June and October/November series. AQA and OCR A Levels are examined in the summer series.

Entering the AQA A Level Exams

AQA is a UK board, and its A Levels are sat in the summer series. Ask your school or exam centre whether it enters candidates for AQA and which specification it uses.

The exam board's own site is AQA, which holds the current syllabuses and rules.

How Our AQA A Levels Tutors Help

Tutors list the boards they teach, so you can look for AQA experience on a profile. Lessons follow your syllabus, use past papers and mark schemes, and focus on the topics where the student loses marks.

Choose online tutors or home tutors, and see the A Levels crash course page for revision before the exam.

AQA A Level Past Papers

Our AQA past-paper library lists papers by syllabus code and also has topical papers. We list only the files we have added, so check the board's website for the complete set.
